Can I pick up a car at Brisbane Airport and then return it at a depot on the Gold Coast?
You sure can. Make sure you select this option at the time of your booking. Simply un-check Return to same location in the box above and enter both your preferred pickup and return locations. Popular one way routes include Brisbane to the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Noosa.
Is hiring at the airport more expensive than picking up a vehicle at a different depot?
Car rental prices are dynamic and depend on the supply and demand for vehicles at specific locations. Airport rental rates can be somewhat higher than rates at other places due to higher demand, in most cases however the difference is marginal and lower than the cost of additional transfer to/from the airport. Are sports cars also available?
Some of our suppliers do provide SUVs and V6s. However, if you are looking for something special you may want to try a local company that specialises in sports car rentals as our suppliers in general do not offer so-called luxury sports vehicles.
I’ll be travelling with a small group. Can I rent an 8-seater?
Yes, 8-seaters are available from several of our providers. Due to being hugely popular especially during holiday seasons they get booked out extremely quickly before the Easter and Christmas breaks. Be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible, so you don’t miss out.
I’m 22 years old. Can I be the driver? Are there additional fees?
Our suppliers require the driver to be 21 years or older to be able to rent. A surcharge is applied to the rental rate for drivers younger than 25 years old due to insurance issues. If you’re under 25, check the exact rate with the supplier before you rent.
I’d like drive up one way to Cairns. Is that possible?
Yes, you can get a one way quote by un-checking the “Return to the same location" option and entering your desired start and end locations. One way rentals to other locations are also possible, e.g. another popular route is Brisbane to Sydney.
I need a car in the CBD, how can I choose a city location?
Choose Brisbane, QLD as the location in the Pickup field. If you would like to further specify your pickup depot, click the Choose from [] address options message that appears immediately below.
