Car Rental Taree

• Time your trip right. Prices jump during school holidays and Christmas. For the best deals, aim for May to August. February is also a sweet spot with great weather but lower demand.
• Don't overdo it on the car. A standard car is fine for most roads in the Manning Valley, so you probably don't need a big SUV. Also, compare rates, as a weekly rental can sometimes be cheaper per day than booking for five or six days.
• Watch out for the add-ons. Fees for an extra driver can sneak up on you, but some companies let you add your spouse or partner for free. Just be aware that one-way rentals to another city usually have an extra fee.
• Before you return the car, fill up the tank in Taree. Petrol prices are often a bit higher in the smaller country towns you'll be exploring.
