Car Hire Mandurah

• Catch the train from Perth and rent locally in Mandurah to dodge airport fees. Rates in town are often 10-15% cheaper than picking up at Perth Airport.
• Avoid the summer school holidays (December to January) if you can. Prices can really jump during this peak season.
• Staying for 5 days or more? Check if a weekly rate is cheaper. Sometimes booking a full week is better value than booking for just 5 or 6 days.
• Don't just stick to the big brands. Compare prices from local independent companies as they can sometimes offer better deals, especially for longer hires.
• Save on petrol. In Western Australia, Tuesday is usually the cheapest day to fill up. You'll often find better prices at stations along Pinjarra Road.
