  • 24 hour BP truck stops on Great Eastern Highway and Kwinana Freeway sell diesel and LPG gas, and have water taps.
  • Free dump points: Belmont (Bytes Road) and Joondalup (Hodges Drive) have signs and lights at night.
  • Fresh water is also available at Whitfords Sea Rescue (small coin donation expected).

  • Total Fire Ban days run mainly November to April. On these days you cannot use outdoor cookers or generators in parks.
  • Western Australia has strict quarantine rules. Do not carry fresh fruit, honey or plants across regional border checkpoints.

  • RAC WA provides roadside assistance. Non-members must pay when they call for help.
  • Many local councils allow only one night stays in free rest areas. Arrive after 4:00 PM and leave by 9:00 AM to follow the rules.
