• The inner city is a Milieuzone (low-emission zone). Diesel engines below Euro 4 standard are not allowed and fines are enforced by camera.
• Urban streets have speed limits of 50 km/h (31 mph), rural roads 80 km/h (50 mph) and motorways 100 km/h (62 mph) between 06:00-19:00. At night the limit increases to 120 or 130 km/h (75-81 mph) where posted.
• P+R sites (for example Kralingse Zoom, Alexander, Beverwaard) offer high-roof parking spaces and cheap day tickets that include metro travel.
