The TF-21 road to Teide has steep gradients over 10% and tight curves. Use a low gear when going downhill.
Speed limit on TF-1 and TF-5 highways is 120 km/h (75 mph) unless electronic signs show different speeds.
LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is sold as GLP. Only three stations sell it: Las Chafiras, La Orotava, and Santa Cruz. Plan your refills carefully.
