  • Vehicles wider than 80 inches (2 meters) or longer than 24 feet (7.3 meters) cannot park on Seattle streets between 00:00–06:00.

  • Call 911 for any police, fire, or medical emergency in Washington State.
  • October to April brings heavy rain. Wet leaves and standing water can double your stopping distance.
  • Mount Rainier National Park requires you to carry tire chains for all vehicles from November 1 to May 31.
  • Free camping in national forests is allowed if you stay at least 1 mile (1.6 km) from developed campgrounds and 100 feet (30 meters) from water sources.
  • Dumping gray water or trash on public land has a minimum fine of USD 103.
