Is it difficult to drive in Split city centre? The historic centre is for walking only, but the streets around it are narrow, one-way and have limited parking. You might find it hard to get around if it's your first time. We suggest you park in a public garage and explore the centre on foot.
Can I take my rental car on ferries to islands? Yes, car ferries go to several islands like Brač, Hvar and Šolta. You should check if your rental agreement allows you to take the car on a ferry and book your ferry tickets early in summer. A ferry for a standard car costs about €20-40 each way, depending on the island.
