How early should I arrive to return my rental car?
You should plan to arrive at least 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight departs. Returning the car usually takes 15–20 minutes, and then you have a short walk to the terminal.
Can I change my vehicle type upon arrival if I see something I prefer?
Yes, as long as we have other cars available. Our airport locations usually have the biggest choice of cars, so you can often upgrade or change to a different car type. Just know this may change the price you pay.
Are there any restrictions on where I can drive a rental car from BOI?
Most cars you rent from BOI Airport give you unlimited mileage for driving in Idaho and nearby states. If you plan to drive to Canada, you may need extra paperwork. We do not allow off-road driving unless you rent a vehicle made for it.
What happens if my arriving flight is delayed late at night?
We usually watch for flight arrival times and will stay open if your flight is late. However, if your flight is delayed by more than 2 hours, you should call your rental company to make sure someone will wait for you.
