- Speed limits are 100 km/h on highways and 50 km/h on city streets unless signs show different limits.
- Quebec requires winter tyres from 1 December to 15 March. Rental companies may charge extra for winter tyres.
- Highway 25 and Highway 30 bridges use electronic tolls called A25/A30 transponder. Visitors without a transponder pay online within 48 hours.
