120 km/h (75 mph) is the motorway speed limit, 90 km/h (56 mph) on main roads and 50 km/h (31 mph) in towns unless signs show otherwise.
Most motorways use the Via Verde electronic toll system. Rental companies can provide a transponder or you can pre-pay at a post office.
