Public EV charging stations in Los Angeles are usually located near supermarkets, shopping malls, parks, schools, and along the highways. Some charging stations are:
- bp pulse LAX — 9150 Aviation Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90301. bp pulse's largest US site, two miles from LAX, with 48 charging bays on a mix of 400kW and 150kW chargers and both NACS and CCS connectors. A lounge, vending machines, restrooms and Wi-Fi are listed as coming soon.2
- LADWP John Ferraro Building — 111 N Hope St., downtown Los Angeles. Free public charging at the city utility's headquarters, with 24 Level 2 chargers and three DC fast chargers, open Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.3

EVgo pay-as-you-go adds a $0.99 session fee ($2.99 by card), while its $6.99 and $12.99 plans waive it5. Level 2 chargers cost less than DC fast. At home, California's average 34.74 cents per kWh in June 20266 makes a 60 kWh charge about $20.80.
