Driving in the Area
- Crit'Air sticker is required inside the A86 ring road; order online before arrival.
- City speed limit is 30 km/h on most streets and 50 km/h on main roads.

- Height inside many parking garages is below 2 m; street parking is limited in the centre.
- Diesel fuel is available at supermarkets and 24-hour card payment stations; pay first, then fill.
- Highway tolls use "Télépéage" electronic lanes or pay at booth with card or cash; campervans under 3 m height are Class 2.

Resupplying Options
- Fuel, LPG and basic groceries at Carrefour and Auchan supermarkets on the N118 and A4 outskirts.
- Fresh water and waste dump at "Flot Bleu" service points on the A10 (Saint-Arnoult) and A1 (Vémars).
- Gas bottle exchange at E.Leclerc Brico stores; bring empty cylinder for replacement.
Practical Tips
- Summer heat can make vehicle interiors very hot; bring window shades and 5 L drinking water per person.
- Do not park overnight on streets inside Paris between 22:00 and 07:00; fines are common.
- Keep DEF (AdBlue) fluid if using a modern diesel engine; buy at truck lanes to save money.
- Emergency number is 112 (police, fire, medical) anywhere in France.
- Strikes can disrupt fuel supply; fill up when the tank reaches half full.
- Winter trips: carry folding snow chains if travelling toward the Alps; required on mountain roads from 1 Nov to 31 Mar.
