The E6 (north–south) and E18 (west–east) are the two main highways that start from the capital and lead to fjord country, the Arctic and Sweden. Remember that Norway's "allemannsretten" right-to-roam law applies mainly to tents. Motorised camping must follow roadside parking rules or use private campsites.
