The Pantheon is one of Rome’s most important ancient monuments, combining Roman engineering, Christian worship, and modern museum-style access in one of the city’s busiest historic spaces. Its central location, vast dome, and continued religious role make it both a major cultural attraction and an active basilica.

The Pantheon welcomed about 4.5 million visitors in 2025, following approximately 4.09 million entries in 2024.

• The latest three published annual data points show the Pantheon drawing an average of approximately 4.6 million visits per year.
• Pantheon attendance reached approximately 5.2 million visitors in 2023, up 5.5% from 2022.
• The monument recorded approximately 4.09 million entries in 2024, the first full year in which paid access applied across all twelve months.
• The 2025 figure rose to about 4.5 million visitors.
• Recent figures show that the Pantheon remains one of Italy’s busiest state cultural monuments, even after the introduction of paid entry.

The Pantheon’s full ticket costs €5 until 30 June 2026 and rises to €7 from 1 July 2026.
