Changi recorded 370,591 commercial aircraft movements in FY2025.

• That was above 344,000 in FY2024 but still below the pre-pandemic high of 386,000 in FY2019.
• Commercial aircraft movements generally increased from 347,500 in FY2014 to 386,000 in FY2019 before dropping sharply to 71,800 in FY2021.
• The recovery then gathered pace, rising to 122,800 in FY2022, 257,000 in FY2023, and 344,000 in FY2024.

Changi handled 2 million tonnes of airfreight throughput in FY2025.

• That was above 1.8 million tonnes in FY2024 and close to the pre-pandemic high of 2.14 million tonnes.
• Airfreight throughput was broadly stable from FY2014 to FY2020, rising from 1.84 million tonnes to 1.97 million tonnes before falling to 1.52 million tonnes in FY2021.
• Cargo volumes then recovered to 1.98 million tonnes in FY2022 and remained around 1.8 to 2 million tonnes through FY2025.

Singapore’s air hub contributes about 5% of GDP and directly employs over 60,000 workers.

• IATA estimates direct aviation players in Singapore support 119,200 jobs.
• The same IATA report puts direct aviation economic output at USD 13.6 billion.
• These figures refer to the wider Singapore air hub or aviation sector rather than Changi Airport Group alone.

Changi’s annual handling capacity across Terminals 1 to 4 is 90 million passengers.

• The groundbreaking ceremony for Terminal 5 was held in May 2025, and the new terminal will add about 50 million passenger movements of annual capacity when it opens in the mid-2030s.
• Changi East spans 1,080 hectares, and its development will raise cargo handling capability from 3.0 million to 5.4 million tonnes per annum at end-state.
• Changi was connected to 170 cities, served by close to 100 airlines, and handled more than 7,200 weekly flights as of 31 March 2025.
• CAG targets a 20% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 against its FY18/19 baseline.
